Combivet

Solution for injection

For the treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital tract infections, including pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, colibacillosis, mastitis, endometritis and other primary and secondary bacterial infections in cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, cats and dogs caused by microorganisms susceptible to the combination of active substances.

 
The combination of components provides anti-inflammatory and broad-spectrum antibacterial activity including bacteria resistant to some other medications. Combivet is highly active against Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., Clostridium spp., Haemophilus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Campylobacter spp., Klebsiella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp., Rickettsia spp., Spirochaetaceae and other microorganisms.

Dosage and administration

For intramuscular injection 1-2 times a day at equal intervals (based on disease severity) for 3-5 consecutive days.
Cattle, horses: 20-30 ml per animal. The volume administered per injection site should not exceed 20 ml.
Calves, piglets, sheep, goats: 1-2 ml per 10 kg of body weight. The volume administered per injection site should not exceed 10 ml.
Dogs, cats: 0,1-0,2 ml per 1 kg of body weight. The volume administered per injection site should not exceed 2,5 ml.
Beginning the treatment, administer the therapeutic dose of Combivet twice at 12-hour intervals.
If the solution is slightly gelled, warm up in 50°C water bath and cool to animal's body temperature before use. 


Withdrawal period

Milk: 3 days or 6 milkings
Meat: 10 days

Glass vials of 100 ml.

Shelf life

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years.
Shelf life after first opening the container: 28 days.
Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label.

Storage conditions

Store in the original package between 5°C to 25°C, protected from light and moisture.
