Amclomast DC is indicated for the prevention (one-step drying off) and treatment of mastitis caused by bacteria sensitive to cloxacillin and ampicillin in cows at drying off.
Amclomast DC is a combination of semi-synthetic penicillins (ampicillin and cloxacillin), which exhibits extended bactericidal activity against most mastitis causing pathogens including penicillin-resistant strains. It provides an extended spectrum of efficacy against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium pyogenes, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas spp., etc.). Cloxacillin is also active against beta-lactamase–producing strains.

|Dosage and administration||
Infuse the contents of 1 syringe (5 g) per quarter immediately after final milking. Before use, milk the udder completely out. Care must be taken not to introduce infection into the udder. Clean the teat thoroughly with a teat wipe and allow to dry. Remove the cap from the end of the nozzle of the syringe, insert the nozzle carefully into the opening of the teat, and infuse the full contents of the syringe slowly into the teat canal. Gently massage the quarter to disperse the suspension upwards. Warm up the medication to 36°С - 39°С before use.
Any animal treated with Amclomast DC must not be slaughtered for food until 30 days after the last infusion.
