Colitin
For the treatment of colibacillosis, salmonellosis and other gastrointestinal infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria susceptible to the colistin in pigs and poultry.
Colistin sulphate, as an active ingredient of Colitin, is a polypeptide antibiotic belonging to the polymyxin class produced by certain strains of the bacteria Bacillus polymyxa.
Colistin sulphate is active against Gram-negative bacteria and in particular Enterobacter spp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Bacteroides spp.

| Dosage and administration |
For oral administration via feed or water for 3 days (in the case of salmonellosis for 5 days). |
