70 mg of paromomycin
Powder for oral administration

The drug is used for the treatment of young cattle and pigs with gastrointestinal diseases of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to paromomycin, including colibacillosis and cryptosporidiosis.

Active ingredients In 1 g of the drug as the active substance contains 70 mg of paromomycin (equivalent to 100 mg of paromomycin sulfate), excipients.
Dosage and administration

The drug is administered orally once a day for 3-5 days in the following doses: - Calves – 0.25-0.5 g of the drug per 1 kg of animal body weight (equivalent to 25-50 mg of paromomycin sulfate per 1 kg of animal body weight) with milk or milk replacer (MR);
- Pigs – 0.25-0.4 g of the drug per 1 kg of animal body weight (equivalent to 25-40 mg of paromomycin sulfate per 1 kg of animal body weight) with drinking water.
Before use, the single dose of the drug should be dissolved in liquid (drinking water, milk, or MR), adding the liquid to the powder.


Withdrawal periods

Slaughter of calves for meat is permitted no earlier than 20 days, pigs - no earlier than 3 days after the last application of the drug. Meat from animals forcedly slaughtered before the expiration of the specified periods may be used for feeding carnivorous animals.


Presentation
The drug is produced in packages made of metallized polyethylene membrane of 500 g.
Shelf life

The shelf life of the drug is two years from the date of manufacture, provided that storage conditions are observed. Do not use after the expiration date.
Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label.


Storage conditions

The drug should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from light and moisture, at a temperature from 2 °C to 25 °C.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
