Cryptofor
The drug is used for the treatment of young cattle and pigs with gastrointestinal diseases of bacterial etiology caused by microorganisms sensitive to paromomycin, including colibacillosis and cryptosporidiosis.
| Active ingredients |
In 1 g of the drug as the active substance contains 70 mg of paromomycin (equivalent to 100 mg of paromomycin sulfate), excipients. |
| Dosage and administration |
The drug is administered orally once a day for 3-5 days in the following doses:
- Calves – 0.25-0.5 g of the drug per 1 kg of animal body weight (equivalent to 25-50 mg of paromomycin sulfate per 1 kg of animal body weight) with milk or milk replacer (MR); |
| Withdrawal periods |
Slaughter of calves for meat is permitted no earlier than 20 days, pigs - no earlier than 3 days after the last application of the drug. Meat from animals forcedly slaughtered before the expiration of the specified periods may be used for feeding carnivorous animals. |

The drug is produced in packages made of metallized polyethylene membrane of 500 g.

| Shelf life |
The shelf life of the drug is two years from the date of manufacture, provided that storage conditions are observed. Do not use after the expiration date. |
| Storage conditions |
The drug should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from light and moisture, at a temperature from 2 °C to 25 °C. |
