The drug belongs to vegetotropic agents.
Denaverine hydrochloride, which is part of the drug, has antispasmodic and anesthetic effects.
Denaverine hydrochloride belongs to β-adrenergic blockers, which have a relaxing effect on the smooth muscles of the cervix and help increase the elasticity of the birth canal. At the same time, the drug blocks certain receptors of the uterus, thereby enhancing the action of endogenous oxytocin and the contractile ability of the uterine smooth muscles. Denaverine acts as a phosphodiesterase inhibitor and has anticholinergic action. |
