Gonadin

0,0524 mg/ml Gonadorelin acetate 
Solution for injection

Gonadin is indicated for the control and stimulation of reproduction in cattle, pigs, horses, rabbits and dogs.
Cattle:
- ovulation induction in case of delayed ovulation due to LH-deficiency
- ovulation synchronization
- stimulation of the ovaries during the postpartum period
- ovarian follicular cyst
Pigs:
- ovulation synchronization
- increased fertility
Horses:
- acyclia and anoestrus
- ovulation induction
Dogs:
- to induce ovulation and increase number of pups in the litter in female dogs
- for the treatment of cryptorchidism and stimulation of spermatogenesis and potency in male dogs
- Female rabbits:
- to induce ovulation and increase number of pups in the litter

Gonadorelin acetate 
(corresponding to 0,050 mg gonadorelin)..............................… 0,0524 mg.


Application

For intramuscular injection to cows:
- for the treatment of persistent follicles and delayed ovulation: 2 ml per animal 2 hours before insemination and 2 hours after this.
- for the ovulation synchronisation following oestrus synchronisation: 1 ml per animal.
- for the stimulation of the function of the ovaries in the postpartum period: 1 ml per animal on the 12th day after delivery.
- for the treatment of ovarian (follicular) cysts: 2 ml per animal.
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection to sows:
- to optimise the time of ovulation and increase fertility:
adult sows: 0,5-1 ml per animal.
replacement gilts: 1-1,5 ml per animal.
For intramuscular injection to mares:
- for the treatment of acyclia, anoestrus, ovulation induction: 2 ml per animal.
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection to dogs:
- to induce ovulation and increase number of pups in the litter:
female dogs: 0,5 - 1 ml per animal before the first mating.
- for the treatment of cryptorchidism and stimulation of spermatogenesis and potency:
male dogs: 0,5-1 ml per animal 3-4 times at intervals of 4-5 days.
For intramuscular or subcutaneous injection to female rabbits:
- to induce ovulation and increase number of pups in the litter: single dose of 0,2 ml per animal.

Withdrawal period
Meat/Milk: zero days/hours.

Shelf life

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years.
Shelf life after first opening the container: 28 days.
Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label.

Storage conditions

Store in the original package between 5°C to 25°C, protected from light and moisture.
