Marboken
For the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle and pigs caused by organisms sensitive to marbofloxacin.
Marboken is indicated for the treatment of respiratory, alimentary and urinary tract diseases, skin and soft tissues infections, accompanied with pain syndrome, inflammation or fever; colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, chlamydiosis, staphylococcosis, erysipelas, MMA (Metritis-Mastitis-Agalactia syndrome) in sows and bovine mastitis.
The veterinary medicinal product provides broad-spectrum bactericidal action against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Enterobacter spp., Serratia spp., Morganella morganii, Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp., Shigella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Moraxella spp., Pseudomonas spp., Brucella spp. Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., as well as Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp., Rickettsia spp.
Marbofloxacin is a synthetic, bactericidal antimicrobial, belonging to the fluoroquinolone group, which acts by inhibition of DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV involved in DNA replication.
Ketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, propionic acid derivative. It provides a pronounced analgesic action, as well as moderate anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic effect.

Dosage and administration |
For intramuscular injection once daily for 3 consecutive days. |
