The drug is used to treat cattle and pigs with diseases of the respiratory, digestive and genitourinary systems, skin and soft tissues accompanied by pain syndrome, inflammation or fever; with colibacteriosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, mycoplasmosis, chlamydia, staphylococcosis, erysipelas and MMA syndrome (metritis, mastitis, agalactia) of pigs, mastitis of cows and other diseases, the pathogens of which are sensitive to the components of the drug.
The drug belongs to the antibacterial agents of the fluoroquinolone group, has a wide spectrum of bactericidal action against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Enterobacter spp., Serratia spp., Morganella morganii, Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp., Shigella spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Moraxella spp., Pseudomonas spp., Brucella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., as well as Mycoplasma spp., Chlamydia spp., Ricketsia spp. It is not active against obligate anaerobes.

Dosage and administration

The drug is administered to animals once in the following doses:
- cattle – 1 ml per 16 kg of animal body weight (which corresponds to 10 mg of marbofloxacin per 1 kg of animal body weight) intramuscularly, with mastitis, the drug is administered intramuscularly or intravenously, if necessary, repeat the injection after 24-48 hours;
- pigs – 1 ml per 20 kg of animal body weight (which corresponds to 8 mg of marbofloxacin per 1 kg of animal body weight) intramuscularly at the base of the ear.
With intramuscular administration, the maximum volume of the drug administered in one place should not exceed 20 ml.


Withdrawal periods

Slaughter of cattle for meat is allowed no earlier than 8 days, pigs – 9 days after application of the drug. The meat of animals that were forcibly killed before the expiration of the specified time limits can be used to feed carnivorous animals.
Milk is allowed to be used in human food no earlier than 72 hours after the last use of the drug. Before the expiration of the specified period, milk can be used after heat treatment to feed unproductive animals.

Shelf life

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years. Shelf life after first opening the container: 28 days.
Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label.


Storage conditions

Store in the original package according B list between 5°C to 25°C, protected from light and moisture.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
