Intramammary suspension for cows

For the treatment of clinical and subclinical mastitis of non-infectious etiology in lactating cows. 
For use in the complex therapy of purulent or purulent-catarrhal mastitis with appropriate broad-spectrum antibiotics in accordance with the instructions for their use.

Proteolytic enzymes, as active ingredients of Mastisim, cause the lysis of microorganisms, degrade breakdown products of damaged tissues and exudate relieving pain and reducing inflammation in affected udder quarters.
Vitamins A and E take part in redox reactions, stimulate regeneration of udder cisternal tissues and enhance resistance towards diseases. The components of Mastisim act synergistically.

Administration

For intramammary administration: infuse the contents of 1 syringe (8 g) into each infected quarter 4-6 times at 12-hour intervals.
Before use, milk the udder completely out. Clean the teat thoroughly with an antiseptic. Remove the cap from the end of the nozzle of the syringe, insert the nozzle carefully into the opening of the teat, and infuse the full contents of the syringe slowly into the teat canal. Gently massage the quarter to disperse the suspension upwards for 1 minute.
Next milking should be carried out not earlier than 6 hours after the last administration.
Treatment of purulent or purulent-catarrhal mastitis requires administration of Mastisim 2-4 times at 12-hour intervals and then an intramammary antibacterial agent in accordance with instructions to its use.
In acute mastitis treatment, when immediate antibiotic therapy is required, Mastisim administration should be combined with parenteral antibacterial agent in accordance with instructions to its use. The final administration of Mastisim and antibacterial agent should coincide.
Warm up the medication to 36°С - 39°С before use.

Withdrawal period

Milk, obtained from animals treated with Mastisim, can be used for human consumption without restriction after complete recovery.
Meat: zero days.
In the case of combined antibiotic therapy, withdrawal periods must be set in accordance with the relevant instructions for use.

Polymer syringe of 8 g.

Shelf life

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 1 year.
Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label. 

Storage conditions

Store in the original package between 5°C to 25°C, protected from light and moisture.
