The drug is used as a uterotonic agent for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes in cows for postpartum complications (uterine subinvolution, acute and chronic endometritis) and in sows with MMA syndrome (metritis-mastitis-agalactia), as well as for the prevention of retained placenta in animals. Propranolol belongs to the group of non-selective beta-blockers. The mechanism of action of propranolol involves blocking the beta-adrenergic receptors of the myometrium, which promotes the activity of endogenous oxytocin. As a result, the contraction of the smooth muscles of the uterus and mammary gland is enhanced. In addition, propranolol is an antagonist of catecholamines (a group of similar hormones produced by the adrenal medulla), thereby exhibiting an anti-stress effect.

Active ingredients	In 1 ml of the drug contains 80 mg of propranolol (in the form of propranolol hydrochloride), excipients.
Dosage and administration	The drug is administered intramuscularly. Cows: At a dose of 7 ml per animal, the drug is used on the day of calving. The drug is used in complex therapy for the treatment of endometritis; if necessary, the drug is re-administered after 7 days. For the prevention of retained placenta, uterine subinvolution, and endometritis, the drug is used on the day of calving. A gynecological examination is performed 7 days after administration of the drug, and if necessary, the drug is re-administered. Sows: - 3 ml of the drug per animal on the day of farrowing to prevent retained placenta and MMA syndrome. If necessary, the drug is re-administered after 7 days.;
Withdrawal periods	Products from animals after using the drug are allowed to be used for food purposes without restrictions.
Presentation	The drug is produced in glass bottles of 100 ml.
Shelf life	The shelf life of the drug is two years from the date of manufacture, provided that storage and transportation conditions are observed; after first opening the packaging - 28 days at a temperature from 2 °C to 8 °C. Do not use this veterinary product after the expiry date which is stated on the label.
Storage conditions	The drug should be stored and transported in the manufacturer's packaging, in a place protected from light, at a temperature from 2 °C to 25 °C. Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
